Functionality The ASSA ABLOY Code Handle on rose has the same characteristics as the Code Handle on long plate. The handle on the inside of the door is always freely operable, with an eye to escape safety. The administrator of the door(s) to which the Code Handle is applied has a 6-digit master code and can program the user codes (up to 9 per door) and add or delete codes as needed. The master code can also be used to program the automatic locking option for each door. If a user enters his or her code incorrectly five times, the Code Handle will be disabled for three minutes. The Code Handle operates on a set of batteries, good for 100,000 operations. When the batteries need replacing, the Code Handle gives an optical signal.
